Tracy Nel

Owner

Kia ora, I'm Tracy, the owner/manager of Numberworks'nWords, Lower Hutt. After 35 years of teaching, I'm still passionate about helping students to reach their full potential. In my experience, learning should be fun and individualised to suit the needs of each student.

I have two adult sons who were students and then tutors at NumberWorks'nWords. They loved every moment and still have fond memories of learning. I enjoy ocean swimming, mountain biking and have been bitten by the golfing bug. I love to bake and spoil our fabulous team of trained tutors, who are amazing at helping students achieve their goals.

I would love to discuss your child's educational needs and help them reach their full potential. So please pop in to meet me and have a chat.

What subjects do you teach?

At NumberWorks'nWords we specialise in both maths and English.

What happens if my child is sick and can't make it?

Let us know as soon as possible. We’ll cancel your child’s tutoring session for that day and schedule a make-up session during the same term.

We are on Queens Drive, across the road from Queensgate and the bus stop. We are on the first floor but you can't miss us as our NumberWorks'nWords beetle is always parked outside!

Many of our parents drop off and pick up downstairs. Many of our students also walk, scooter or catch the bus after school to tutoring.
