I have been involved with NumberWorks'nWords since 1992, when I started as a tutor! In 1999, I started the Cashmere branch in south Christchurch, where I have stayed for twenty years. It's obvious by my long term commitment to NumberWorks'nWords, that I still absolutely love seeing students develop their maths & English skills, and become more engaged in their learning. I'm proud to have taught thousands of students, and helped them increase their confidence, and love of learning. In some cases, I now have the privilege of teaching the children of some of my original students, from the late 1990's!
I'm always happy to meet with you and discuss your child's educational needs, and to help your child reach their full potential.

What are the lesson times?
Our centres run one-hour tutoring sessions after school, Monday to Friday, usually starting from 3:30pm. We aim to be as flexible as possible to fit around your child’s other activities. Just let us know what works best for you!
What ages do you teach?
We work with students aged 5 to 16, covering all levels of ability; from early learners to those preparing for exams or needing extension work (more of challenge).
What subjects do you teach?
At NumberWorks'nWords we specialise in both maths and English.
What happens if my child is sick and can't make it?
Let us know as soon as possible. We’ll cancel your child’s tutoring session for that day and schedule a make-up session during the same term.

Parking is available in the Barrington Mall car park, with time limits ranging from 10 minutes to 180 minutes. Our centre is located upstairs above Snap Fitness, near the Barrington Street entrance to the mall.
