Hi! I’m Natalie, owner of NumberWorks’nWords New Plymouth.

I have been with NumberWorks for 8 years now, starting as an English tutor in the Palmerston North centre. After completing my Bachelor of Education, followed by a small stint at a primary school, I decided that I enjoyed the individualised support we can give students at NumberWorks’nWords too much to leave. I love when students have a ‘lightbulb’ moment when a concept clicks, and celebrating successes (no matter how small). My aim is to increase learning confidence, while letting kids see that learning maths and English can be fun!

What are the lesson times?

Our centres run one-hour tutoring sessions after school, Monday to Friday, usually starting from 4pm. We aim to be as flexible as possible to fit around your child’s other activities. Just let us know what works best for you!

What ages do you teach?

We work with students aged 5 to 16, covering all levels of ability; from early learners to those preparing for exams or needing extension work (more of challenge).

What subjects do you teach?

At NumberWorks'nWords we specialise in both maths and English.

What happens if my child is sick and can't make it?

Let us know as soon as possible. We’ll cancel your child’s tutoring session for that day and schedule a make-up session during the same term.

Which schools in the area do you have students attending from?

We happily welcome students from all schools in the area.

Does the centre have any parking?

Free parking is available after 5 pm, or you can enjoy three hours of free parking in the basement, accessible from Gill Street between Top Town and BFT.

Are there amenities or shops close to your location?

Our centre is located inside Top Town Mall in the heart of the CBD, close to the movies, arcade, and a wide range of shops and cafes.

What’s the best way to find your center?

Our centre is located inside Top Town Shopping Centre, directly opposite the escalator leading to the cinemas.
