Hello I’m Chernade, the manager at NumberWorks’nWords Flat Bush! My journey with NumberWorks’nWords began as a student, where I developed fond memories of having fun while learning and being more confident at school. As a tertiary student studying a Bachelor of Science and then a Master of Health Sciences, I was thrilled to join the NumberWorks’nWords team at the Royal Oak Centre as a tutor. Ending up as the Manager of the Flat Bush Centre, I am committed to providing your child with a positive learning experience, supported by expert tutors.

Ready to book an assessment at Flat Bush?
A NumberWorks’nWords assessment in English and/or maths is a great way to see how your child is doing and where they might need support.
Our centres run one-hour tutoring sessions after school, Monday to Friday, usually starting from 3:30pm. We aim to be as flexible as possible to fit around your child’s other activities. Just let us know what works best for you!
What ages do you teach?
We work with students aged 5 to 16, covering all levels of ability; from early learners to those preparing for exams or needing extension work (more of challenge).
What subjects do you teach?
At NumberWorks'nWords we specialise in both maths and English.
What happens if my child is sick and can't make it?
Let us know as soon as possible. We’ll cancel your child’s tutoring session for that day and schedule a make-up session during the same term.
Which schools in the area do you have students attending from?
We have students from Ormiston Junior College, Ormiston Primary School, Baverstock Oak School, ACG Strathalan, Chapel Down Primary School, De la Salle College, Hingaia Primary School, Homai Primary School, Sancta Maria Catholic Primary School, Tangaroa College, Willowbank Primary School, but we welcome students from all schools.
Does the centre have any parking?
We have two designated NumberWorks’nWords car parks available. Additional free parking is available along the roadside of the car park, and paid parking can be found in the underground car park.
Are there amenities or shops close to your location?
Our centre is located underneath Anytime Fitness, next to Reformer Pilates, near the Ormiston Police Station, and close to the petrol station and nearby quick-service food restaurants.
What’s the best way to find your centre?
We are located between Reformer Pilates and New Union Bathroom.
