Andrew Meath
Owner
Hi, I'm Andrew, the owner and operator of the NumberWorks'nWords Brighton. I have a passion for teaching young people to be the best that they can be. I have over 20 years experience in the media industry as a journalist and editor, hold a diploma in financial services, and have extensive teaching experience at tertiary level.
We have a team of dedicated, high-energy maths and English tutors here who know that making learning fun is the key to building confidence in children. Come and see us at our Brighton centre and you will find a place for children of all abilities to achieve their learning goals.

Hi, I’m Kris, the manager at NumberWorks’nWords Brighton. I have a passion for teaching students and fostering their growth to bring out their full potential.
I have been working at NumberWorks’nWords for over seven years and have spent time working alongside both primary and secondary teachers in schools across Victoria. I am also currently studying to complete my bachelor of education.
I look forward to working with your children and showing them how fun learning can be!

Frequently asked questions
What are the lesson times?
Our centres run one-hour tutoring sessions after school, Monday to Friday, usually starting from 3:30pm. We aim to be as flexible as possible to fit around your child’s other activities. Just let us know what works best for you!
What ages do you teach?
We work with students aged 5 to 16, covering all levels of ability; from early learners to those preparing for exams or needing extension work (more of challenge).
What subjects do you teach?
At NumberWorks'nWords we specialise in both maths and English.
What happens if my child is sick and can't make it?
Let us know as soon as possible. We’ll cancel your child’s tutoring session for that day and schedule a make-up session during the same term.
