Natalie Stevens

Owner and Manager

Hi! I'm Natalie Stevens, owner and manager of NumberWorks'nWords Baulkham Hills.

My journey with NumberWorks'nWords began as a student when my dad became the owner of the Pennant Hills centre in 1995. While studying Medicine at UNSW, I worked as a maths and English tutor across several centres, including Pennant Hills, Baulkham Hills and Eastgardens.

In 2014, I returned to NumberWorks'nWords to work alongside my dad as co-manager of the bustling Baulkham Hills centre. After spending several years balancing family life with part-time administrative and training roles within the company, I proudly became the owner of the Baulkham Hills centre in 2022.

I'm passionate about helping every child reach their potential. I believe all students can learn and grow when given the right support, encouragement and opportunities. Strong communication with parents is also a key part of helping students succeed, as no one knows your child better than you!

At NumberWorks'nWords Baulkham Hills, we welcome students of all abilities and celebrate every achievement along the way. Together with our dedicated team of tutors, we work hard to build confidence, develop skills and make learning fun!

Frequently asked questions

What are the lesson times?

Our centres run one-hour tutoring sessions after school, Monday to Friday, usually starting from 3:30pm. We aim to be as flexible as possible to fit around your child’s other activities. Just let us know what works best for you!

What ages do you teach?

We work with students aged 5 to 16, covering all levels of ability; from early learners to those preparing for exams or needing extension work (more of challenge).

What subjects do you teach?

At NumberWorks'nWords we specialise in both maths and English.

What happens if my child is sick and can't make it?

Let us know as soon as possible. We’ll cancel your child’s tutoring session for that day and schedule a make-up session during the same term.
