Individual tuition programs

Our curriculum-linked programs are designed by experts to deliver the results your child needs (catch-up, extension or exam prep), while also building confidence and increasing love of learning. We teach children aged 5 to 16 and regular reports show how your child is improving. Every student has an individualised program and works towards agreed personal goals. Results are celebrated.

Meet the Owner: Eimear Hughes

Hi, I'm Eimear Hughes, the Owner/Manager of NumberWorks'nWords Erina. Before moving to Sydney from Belfast, Northern Ireland in July 2007, I was a teacher and senior manager of a large Primary School for over 13 years. I spent 2008 as Manager of NumberWorks'nWords St Ives before purchasing NumberWorks’nWords Mosman. In October 2022, I opened a brand new second centre in North Sydney. I am very excited to be opening a third centre in Erina in January 2026.

I am a passionate educator who thrives on helping young learners maximise their potential. As a parent of two young children, I recognise the challenges students have today. Many students are unhappy at school, struggling, or bored - that’s where we can help.

When you come into any of our three centres you will first notice the buzz of excitement and the welcoming environment. You will see students working on their own individual programs, being supported by their tutors, having fun while learning, and celebrating their success. I’m proud of our caring and respectful culture that motivates and inspires our students. I love seeing them build confidence, feeling proud and successful. We are an award winning tutoring centre and the team and myself look forward to meeting you and supporting your child’s learning journey.

Hi I'm Immie. Having been both a student and tutor at NumberWorks'nWords, I have a deep understanding of how beneficial our individualised programs are for each student. I've always had a passion for helping students learn in a way that works for them, and I know that making learning fun and accessible are key aspects of engaging any student.

Hi I’m Jess.  Having been both a student and tutor at NumberWorks'nWords Mosman, I understand the difference that fun and praise can make to a child's learning. I love being a part of that ‘lightbulb’ moment, when a child goes from struggling with a concept to being able to understand and gain new confidence in their abilities.
