Andrew Meath

Owner

Hi, I'm Andrew, the owner and operator of NumberWorks'nWords Geelong. I am passionate about helping young people be the best that they can be, and that starts with finding confidence in the classroom and everyday life.

I have 20 years experience in the media industry as a journalist and editor, hold a diploma in financial services, extensive teaching experience at tertiary level and specialised training at the Institute of Multisensory Education to support children with Dyslexia.

Our team brings energy to every tutoring session because we know if we make the learning fun children stay engaged for longer. Come and see us at our Belmont centre and you will find a place for children of all abilities to achieve their learning goals.

What are the lesson times?

Our centres run one-hour tutoring sessions after school, Monday to Thursday at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm and Saturdays 9am, 10am and 11am.

What ages do you teach?

We work with students aged 5 to 16, covering all levels of ability; from early learners to those preparing for exams or needing extension work (more of challenge).

What subjects do you teach?

At NumberWorks'nWords we specialise in both maths and English.

What happens if my child is sick and can't make it?

Let us know as soon as possible. We’ll cancel your child’s tutoring session for that day and schedule a make-up session during the same term.

Which schools in the area do you have students attending from?

We have students attending from all greater Geelong schools.

Does the centre have any parking?

We have ample parking in front of the centre.

Are there amenities or shops close to your location?

Our centre is conveniently surrounded by popular eateries like KFC, Noodle Canteen, and Subway, as well as many other shops.

What’s the best way to find your centre?

Our front entrance is aligned with the back door of Subway, set back about 20 m from High Street. We’re located directly next door to the High Street Medical Centre.
