NumberWorks'nWords centres across the UK are operating in-line with government advice, with Covid-19 restrictions in place.
Our centres are open for in-centre tuition with safety measure in place. Please contact your centre for more information about in-centre tuition during Covid-19. We want to assure you that your children will be able to continue their tutoring this term - tutoring will be delivered in-centre, with mandatory social distancing and additional hygiene measures to protect our staff and students.
With centres reopening, we will continue to strictly manage hygiene and social distancing at our centres under the guidelines set out by our government.
We will maintain a distance of 1m from any other person.
Unless absolutely necessary (e.g. for safety), there is to be no direct contact from person to person and minimal touching of common items without disinfecting between each use (e.g. no sharing of calculators or headphones). Students are encouraged to supply their own headphones and calculators where possible.
Face Coverings
Face coverings are recommended for staff and students above the age of 11, and should be worn in the tuition centre if social distancing cannot be maintained.
Every person is to wash/sanitise their hands upon arrival to the centre, after sneezing/coughing, and after toileting.
Every item and flat surface will be wiped with disinfectant after each use.
No person displaying cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. fever, coughing, sneezing, breathing difficulty, runny nose, etc.) are to be in the centre at any time. Any person displaying symptoms are to be sent home.
Any person that has been confirmed a close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19 must not attend the centre until they have been tested and confirmed negative.
An accurate record of attendance will be maintained at all times. We ask all visitors to the centre to sign in using the NHS QR code poster which is displayed.
